Welcome to the Sydney Sunrise Rotary Club’s site.  Our club is one of 32,000 clubs within Rotary International, representing 165 countries.

 

We meet for every Thursday at 7:30 am for one hour at Boston Pizza, Sydney. We are one of 4 clubs on Cape Breton Island.

 

As a global network that strives to build a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change, Rotary values diversity and celebrates the contributions of people from all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, colour, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

 

Locally, we volunteer and contribute to many organizations serving the less fortunate within our community.  The need never goes away. We need all the financial support we can raise through our fundraising activities.

 

Please support these fundraisers or simply send a cheque to the Rotary Club of Sydney Sunrise at P.O.Box  231, Sydney, N.S, Canada, B1P 6H1. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a charitable tax receipt.

And, we continue to support Rotary’s Emergency Disaster Relief, Polio Eradication and other programs.

 

We are proud to support our Interact Club at Glace Bay High School, which is very active in their community.

 

Along with our hard work, we like to have fun, and do so with various types of activities and socials.
